For a Planet unto itself we are remarkably accessible. All major airlines (and many minor ones) fly into Denver International Airport, which is about an hour's drive from the Planet. We are just 25 minutes north of Downtown Boulder, and an hour from Denver or Fort Collins. We encourage people to walk, ride their bicycle, or carpool to Planet Bluegrass. - Start out going Southeast on AIRPORT EXIT towards PENA BLVD by turning left. Stay straight to go onto PENA BLVD.3.5 miles ( 5.7 km)
- Take the E-470 N exit, exit number 6B, towards 120TH AVENUE. 0.9 miles ( 1.4 km)
- Merge onto E 470 N (Portions toll). 5.7 miles ( 9.2 km)
- Turn LEFT onto E 120TH AVE 1.9 miles ( 3.1 km)
- Turn RIGHT onto SABLE BLVD/CO-51. 1.6 miles ( 2.7 km)
- Turn LEFT onto E 132ND AVE. 1.4 miles ( 2.2 km)
- Turn RIGHT onto US-85 N.19.9 miles ( 32.0 km)
- Turn left on Justin Ave, JUSTIN AVE becomes CO-66.22.5 miles ( 36.3 km)
- CO-66 becomes UTE HWY.1.0 miles ( 1.6 km)
- UTE HWY becomes E MAIN ST/CO-7.
- Proceed through Main Street in Lyons and turn right onto Hwy 36 towards Estes Park.
- Planet Bluegrass is on the right, immediately after the bridge over the North St. Vrain.
From the North - I-25 South
- Take the CO-66 exit, exit number 243, towards LONGMONT/LYONS.
Turn RIGHT onto CO-66. 14.3 miles ( 23.0 km) - CO-66 becomes UTE HWY. UTE HWY becomes E MAIN ST/CO-7.
- Proceed through Main Street in Lyons and turn right onto Hwy 36 towards Estes Park.
- Planet Bluegrass is on the right, immediately after the bridge over the North St. Vrain.
From the South - I-25 North
- Take the CO-66 exit, exit number 243, towards LONGMONT/LYONS.
Turn LEFT onto CO-66. 14.3 miles ( 23.0 km) - CO-66 becomes UTE HWY. UTE HWY becomes E MAIN ST/CO-7.
- Proceed through Main Street in Lyons and turn right onto Hwy 36 towards Estes Park.
- Planet Bluegrass is on the right, immediately after the bridge over the North St. Vrain.
From Boulder
- Take Hwy 36 north to the junction of Hwy 36 and Hwy 66. Take a left and follow Hwy 36 into Lyons.
- Proceed through Main Street in Lyons and turn right onto Hwy 36 towards Estes Park.
